  Ali was born in a middle class family. One night, while lying flat on his back in his cradle, he saw lots of stars in the sky. He asked his father in his innocent childish broken language, “Which one is the best star, papa?” His father did not have a clear answer for the innocent question of the child who was so young in age to communicate properly. The father replied, “All the stars are same but you are brighter than all of them because you are my lovely moon.” and kissed the child’s forehead. The question remained in Ali’s mind increasing his curiosity even more with the passage of time. He would ask the same question to the people who came across him. The people of the village were very beautiful as their deeds were never ugly. And it is said that handsome is he who does handsome work. The villagers would not lock their doors neither they would ever collect the working tools from their field in the evening if they were to work in the same field the next day. The villagers were so peaceful, religious and trustworthy that locking their store doors at night was not a custom and there prevailed a strong bound of social trust among the people. Salem, a kind hearted king of an ancient empire, had a son eminent for his wisdom, piety and strength. The Prince was idealized in the whole region and kings and queens of the adjoining countries desired him to be married with their daughters. When the Prince turned twenty-five, the ideal age to be married for a bachelor in that country, the king asked him to look for a life partner. Though, the king wanted his son to be wedded with the daughter of Shams Uddin, another king of the neighboring country and a friend of him yet he wanted not to impose his own pronouncement on his son. Mosquito's Proposal ( A Short Story)

Knowing not what to do after its creation, the mosquito directly flew to a human being with the intention of sucking some blood for its survival. It was kept in its instinct to suck human blood, and that’s how it goes. But, while hovering around the body in search of a better place to settle, the first thing, it ever saw on the human body, was the human ear.  The mosquito was so fascinated by the sight of such a beautiful thing that it forgot its mission and directly fell in love with the ear. It was a kind of love at first sight. In other words, it was one sided love of the mosquito.
